Discount Coupons

Discount coupons can be used for various tasks. E.g. You can display the coupon on your storefront pages to provide your customers with discounts on products storewide or in selected categories. You could provide the coupon code in newsletters to customers who have purchased or simply joined your newsletter lists. You could even use the Coupon code in special advertisements in papers or online adds to promote special discounts.

Coupon Title
Enter the title of the discount coupon for your reference, it may describe how you are using the discount. e.g. January sale. Newsletters, paper adds etc.

Expire Date
Once the expiry date is up, the coupon will no longer be redeemable in the checkout, it will no longer adjust the price.

Code
Enter the code you wish customers to use to redeem the discount in the checkout. Please do not use symbols like %$&* etc the code will not work in the checkout, only use numbers and letters.

Disount Rate
Enter the percentage you are applying to the discount coupon. This will be a percentage of the subtotal in the checkout.

Categories
Select which categories in your storefront that you want to apply the coupon to. If a category is not selected the discount it will not work on that product which falls within that category. If an order is made with some products within a selected category and some products outside of the selected categories then the discount will only be applied to the subtotal of all products only within the slelected categories and will exclude all others.

A) Yes, the coupon used and the percentage discount is displayed on the order page above the total sale price.
